"We don't want another war! That's why I started writing against it." With these words, Osamu Tezuka announced the birth of his most important sociopolitical work. Published between 1983 and 1985, and winner of the Kodansha Manga Award in 1986, this story within History runs through the intertwined lives of three men named Adolf (Hitler is the first, the others are Kaufmann, son of a German diplomat and a Japanese woman and Kamil, son of Jewish bakers living in Japan). The story revisits the entire course of the Second World War, highlighting all the cruelty of war, massacres, militarism and racism, without discounts for anyone.
