In a land without heroes, there are two choices: find a hero or become one... The days of myth and magic are fading, giving way to the age of science and industry. While the elderly, last Hero sits on the throne of Albion, two friends - the privileged Thomas and his loyal servant James travel east in search of a legendary beast: the rare and fearsome balverine. Their desire for adventure, however, could also be the final defeat... The age of heroes has come to an end but dangers and darkness still populate the wilds of Albion. During their journey, Thomas and James will meet unpredictable friends and terrifying allies in search of another kind of adventure... and even if the prey seems ever closer, they may not survive to tell their story...
