In this novel, set immediately after the events of “Resident Evil: Retribution”, humanity is on the brink of extinction. Alice, betrayed to Washington by Wesker, is the only survivor of what should have been the last stand against the zombie hordes, and must return to the place where the nightmare began: Raccoon City, where the Umbrella Corporation is gathering its forces to give the final blow to the few survivors of the apocalypse. Alice will have to ask for help from her old friends and an unlikely ally to face zombies and mutant monsters: forced to rely on Wesker to regain her superhuman powers while Umbrella prepares to attack, Alice will have to face the most difficult test to save humanity before it finally disappears…
