Mordecai and Daphne have settled in an impervious and difficult place near the town of Gunsight, one of the most remote and dangerous outposts on the planet Pandora. Daphne has been taken prisoner by Jasper, a local warlord who controls the entire area around Gunsight… Except the other settlement, the former mining town of Tumessa, where some kind of super-secret operation is taking place and another warlord war, Reamus, has found a way to earn a lot of money. Reamus mercilessly assaulted Gunsight, kidnapping Jasper's people. Even though he considers them nothing more than scum, Jasper needs those people for his raids on other towns, so everything must go back to how it was before. Mordecai wants to negotiate Daphne's release, but the only chance he has of seeing her alive again is to make his way to Tumessa without sparing anyone, find out what is happening there and report everything to Jasper. Only then will he get a reward and the girl. Mordecai doesn't want this job, but he is very attached to Daphne... and somehow maybe he will be able to turn all this mess to his advantage...
