Link, strengthened by the adventures and battles of Ocarina of Time, travels back in time seven years and sets off on a mysterious and fascinating quest. Despite his appearance being that of a child, his experience and personality are those of a lived man, which makes him particularly suited to the world of Majora's Mask. The one in “A Link to the Past”, however, is a small Link with a sunny character, who knows no grudges (an aspect that will be the key to the story). The protagonist of the series is always Link, but his personality changes from volume to volume, depending on the plot. The main traits of the character, however, remain unchanged, partly because creating new ones from scratch every time would be too complicated, partly because it is precisely thanks to these variations on the theme that we have managed to draw for so long.
