Agame ga Kill! is a manga centered on the story of three young friends, Tatsumi, Ieyasu and Sayo who leave their small ruined village to reach the capital of the empire in search of fortune so they can revive the fortunes of their place of origin. During the journey Tatsumi loses sight of his friends and arrives alone in the capital. Soon, however, the idea he had of the capital collides with harsh reality, and so Tatsumi finds himself alone, robbed and homeless. Welcomed by a rich local family, Tatsumi believes he has had a good chance but that same evening the residence where he is staying is attacked by a gang of assassins who call themselves Night Raid. After having fought off one of the attackers with difficulty, a swordswoman named Akame with a dark past, Tatsumi discovers that in reality the family that welcomed him secretly kidnaps wayfarers and vagabonds for the sole purpose of torturing them to death and finds his friends Ieyasu and Sayo among the latest victims. Furious, he kills the last survivor himself and ends up joining the Night Raids in the hope of being able to eliminate the evil of the empire. But can a murderer bring justice?
