In the case of the attack forces assisted by the Primaris brothers, this role is covered by the Intercessor Squads. These squads capable of thundering volleys of fire often form the flexible fighting core of a newly founded Primaris Chapter, although many existing Chapters have been quick to employ their abilities, deploying them alongside Tactical Squads.
This multi-part plastic kit contains the parts necessary to assemble a set of 10 Primaris Intercessors. Wearing Mk Long-range bolt rifles can be of three different types: the standard one with a curved magazine, the automatic one with a supercharger and increased magazine, or the stalker one with a straight magazine and an optical sight. There are 16 right pauldrons decorated with Intercessors iconography (enough to cover each variant of arms, including 2 with an open radio panel, 2 that tell the squad to stop, 2 that hold a combat knife, and 2 that fire pistols requiem). There is a total of 24 different heads available in the kit, some helmeted and some uncovered.
Models can be assembled as a squad of 10 men, a squad of 9 Intercessors with a Sergeant, or two separate squads of 5 men, each with their own Sergeant. Sergeants have unique heads, with helmets magnetically attached to their belts, and different plates to help distinguish them.
To reflect the versatility of the Intercessors on the battlefield, the kit is packed with extra details to add to the armor: 12 holsters (2 empty, for those who are shooting pistols), 10 ammo and grenade containers, 6 sheaths for combat knives (4 empty), 4 single grenade pouches and 4 ammunition pouches for bolt pistols.
The Primaris Intercessors kit comes as 266 components, and is supplied with 10 Citadel 32mm Round bases and a transfer sheet.
